Alan teaches 100 students each week, both in Schools on behalf of Essex Music Services and privately. Ask about discounts if you pre-pay a block of lessons.

2014 so far: 9 Distinctions, 3 Merits and 3 other passes.

Alan teaches to the Classical Guitar Grades Syllabus published by the main London examining boards, ABRSM, Trinity College and London College of Music.

Students studying acoustic or electric guitar can choose to study to RGT, Trinity Rock or even Rockschool Grade standards. Alan’s recommendation is to choose either RGT or Trinity Rock.
